I love how Dr. Beckman teaches in his presentations- it makes it very easy to learn. I was part of a live training and I'm trying to find that presentation so I can review it before a dental extraction I'm doing tomorrow. Do you have a library of the live presentations?
I read they are thinking Stomatitis is from the bones not the teeth. Is that true? Much thanks!
Need some recommendations. I own a small animal clinic & am looking to replace my Engler dental scaler/polisher...it has give me nothing but problems, Could anyone recommend a good table top dental scaler/polisher? Thanks in advance!
I need some recommendations. I have been having nothing but trouble with my Engler scaler/polisher. I am now looking to purchase a new unit. I am considering the IM3 table top scaler/polisher? I'd love to know which company product Dr. Beckman uses??
Veterinary dentistry for rabbits is in dire need of advances. Rabbit teeth never stop growing and molar spurs, mouth ulcers, punctures on cheeks, tongue roof of mouth open the door to bacteria to invade. Dental complications in rabbits are a leading cause of death. Can someone please invent a hand held dental camera for Vets to use during routine exams? I feel bunny teeth should be checked every six months. My beautiful rabbit, who was very well cared for, highly affectionate and fed a healthy diet, died a slow death due to dental complications. Advancement in diagnostic tools, routine care and treatments are essential. Please include rabbits in your research. Thank you.
Hi - we are wondering about how to go about choosing/finding Loops? We're in Canada and have never seen any so don't know where to start looking or how to choose what's right for us.
Hi i was wondering if this would be good to use on my dog he has really bad breath and his teeth are turning a dark yellow and don't know what to use on him.
This article on dental abnormalities in cats with patellar fractures might interest your followers
Hi. is the event happening? I can't find it..
Just wondering if I could get an opinion. Pulled a tooth (308). It was broken when I started and broke more as I was removing it. As I removed the root tip of the rostral root blood started gushing out of the extraction site. I never was putting a lot of downward pressure on the tooth. Just wonder why there would be so much bleeding in that situation.
Have you seen any cats with retained deciduous teeth, or unerupted teeth? They may be cats with KaTS (Knees and Teeth Syndrome). They may go on to fracture their patellae and other bones following no or minimal trauma. The unerupted teeth can cause abscesses and mandibular osteomyelitis. Please get in touch if you think your cat or patient may be affected. For more information see Feline Patellar Fractures Research
