My Family Dental Care

Comments

I and my husband had horrible experience at the A-1 Family Dental care at 404 Middletown Blvd, Langhorne,PA.
On Sep,2019, the office said they could do a full dentures for my husband and total price would be $5400. They asked to pay $2700 at the time and I paid $2700 with a credit card. They promised my husband would get a dentures in two month . My husband suffers from Diabetes with some of Memorial damage and could not eat well without dentures and had bad low blood sugar tones and went to ER twice. On December,I called them when my husband had dentures and the manager of the office said they could not do it.He said they would return the money to us via credit card. Today, 2/20/2020, I took a day off and called the office on 12:00 and asked when the manager would be at the office.one of staff said he would be at the office around 3:00-3:30. I and my my husband came at 3:30 but the staff said the manager couldn’t come . They did not return the money I paid on Set,2019.

Poor oral health can affect the brain. Substances that are released from gums inflamed by infection can actually kill brain cells and lead to memory loss. Dementia and possibly even Alzheimer's disease can result from gingivitis when the bacteria in the mouth spreads to the nerve channels or enters the bloodstream.

Why wait until it really hurts?

The unbearable pain you have in your jaw area or significant tooth is a serious red flag warning that something is wrong!

There’s a good chance that if you go to bed with tooth pain, it’s going to be there in the morning.
Even if it is a minor pain, it’s not going to stay ‘minor’ for long! Tooth pain is usually an indication of an existing tooth or mouth problem. The longer the underlying problem persists, the worse it will become. The worse it becomes, the worse the pain becomes!

If you feel pain in a specific tooth, you may have a cavity. Temperature sensitivity could be a sign of a cavity or a more serious problem involving the nerve. It’s also possible that an infection in your gums is the source of your pain. No matter what pain you have, the only way to relieve it is by treating its source. That’s just as true for toothaches as it is for everything else. Scheduling an dental appointment is the best way to get lasting relief fast.

When food remains on the teeth, it is consumed by bacteria that are naturally present in the mouth. The bacteria then converts the food into acid, which contributes to the production of plaque, or a sticky substance that clings to the teeth. The acids in plaque will harm the enamel of the tooth, creating cavities.

Tooth decay is a serious problem and can ultimately lead to infection, pain, and loss of teeth. You should begin teaching healthy brushing habits once the first tooth appears in your child’s mouth. Children under two years of age should not be left alone with toothpaste, and an adult should assist with tooth brushing until they reach the age of six.

A periodontal abscess is a pocket of pus in the tissues of the gum.
It looks like a small red ball pushing out of the swollen gum.
An abscess can occur with serious gum disease (periodontitis),
which causes the gums to pull away from the teeth.
Brush and floss every day, and have regular dental checkups.
Eat a healthy diet, and avoid sugary foods and drinks.
Do not smoke or use spit to***co. To***co use slows your ability to heal.
It also increases your risk for gum disease and cancer of the mouth and throat.
If you need help quitting, talk to your doctor about stop-smoking programs and medicines.
These can increase your chances of quitting for good.

#worldoralhealth #scorebycountry #worldoralhealth #usisnumber9 #dentistinphiladelphia
*COUNTRIES WHOSE CITIZENS HAVE HEALTHY TEETH*
HOW ARE THE COUNTRIES RANKED?
1. Denmark
In the top spot, with an impressive score of 0.4, is Denmark. The score reveals that of all the people surveyed and checked, the average citizen had less than half a tooth that needed attention or had problems. Those are some clean, pristine pearly whites!
2. Germany
Thanks to a super-low score of just 0.5 on the DMFT index, Germany lands second place on our list. The people of this nation have superior dental health care and are conscientious about their personal oral hygiene routines.
3. Finland
Finland seizes third place on the list, with a stellar score of 0.7 thanks to quality dental care available throughout the nation.
4. Sweden
With a DMFT score of 0.8, Sweden scores a spot among the top five. Its citizens have some of the cleanest, whitest, straightest teeth in the world.
5. United Kingdom
The U.K. shares an identical DMFT score with Sweden, making it into the top five as well. This score is particularly interested because of the old (now untrue) stereotype of British citizens with bad teeth.
6. Switzerland
Not surprisingly, Switzerland scored high thanks to its advanced medical and dental programs. Its DMFT score was 0.9, which means that the average citizen included in the DMFT survey had less than one tooth that had issues.
7. Canada
Canada sits in seventh place with an excellent score of 1.0. It ranks above the United States in this area of its healthcare provisions. Not only did the country receive a good DMFT score— there are also studies and reports that showcase its population’s teeth as some of the whitest and straightest in the world.
8. Mexico
Mexico’s budget isn’t an ample one, but its dental care system seems to be effective. Mexico manages a 1.1 DMFT score.
9. United States
You might expect the United States to sit near the top of the list. Its score of 1.2 is excellent compared to those of other nations in the world, but there are other countries that simply achieve better statistics when it comes to oral care.
10. France
France has a DMFT score of 1.2, which is fairly good. Its score was actually equal to the United States, but due to some additional factors, including a diminished healthcare budget, France takes a lower spot. While it isn’t doing quite as well as the other nations on this list, it is still sitting securely in the top 10.

G O T F L O S S ?
#gotfloss #takingoutthegarbage #badbreath #dentistinphiladephia #http://bit.ly/2HOd0rV
Flossing is a tedious task and there are a lot of us who just don’t bother, and some recent facts suggest:
The first nationally representative analysis designed to determine how many people floss their teeth, found that those who floss daily amount to about 30 percent of the population. Just over 37 percent report less than daily flossing, and slightly over 32 percent say they never floss.
Wow! That’s just crazy! There are so many other topics of healthcare, fitness, and bad habits etc. out there that everyone is always yammering about, but this subject looks like something that is severely neglected! But don’t take my word for it. Let’s just take a look at some clear details of this topic.
This is a rather raw version of the truth, but when you eat, food gets lodged in between your teeth and gums. You say, “Hey I brush my teeth everyday”; well that’s great, but it doesn’t get rid of trapped food that will soon become a haven for bacteria growth just after 24 hours.
It’s no different then the table scraps that you discard into your garbage can as you complete your routine clean-up in the kitchen after every meal.
What happens to that food that is thrown away? Well it joins the rest of the garbage and now will rot and produce massive amounts of hideous bacteria that will soon inherit a very unattractive ‘stench’ that gets worse as the days go by. The garbage just keeps piling up until you take it out to the curb to be picked up by a very noisy vehicle in the early hours of the morning.
So with your teeth, unless you floss on a daily basis, you are doing nothing more than ‘hoarding’ your own garbage, and you continue to go from day to day as it rots as well.
Hmmm, could that possibly cause ‘bad breath’? You betcha! And depending on how long you go without flossing, you have been doing nothing more that mixing the new garbage with the old. I think you get the picture. So when it comes to taking out the garbage, YOU are the ‘garbage man’. That’s right. You can prevent all of this from happening!
Just think next time you walk up to some folks and deliver your big ‘Hello’. You have probably been including something you didn’t intend to offer. A foul stench that won’t soon be forgotten! You can use floss, use an oral irrigator, or interdental brushes. Remember, you are just taking a few moments to get rid of leftover food particles so you aren’t taking out the ‘Garbage’ because someone has alerted you of your fowl breath! Flossing is a preventative measure to keep your mouth healthy and odor free!
I can say, “I floss everyday”. Others who do not say anything, well, you know the drill.
