Ok my dental staff of Dr Dave and Ashley are always obsessed with my tattoo and today they got out their props and took pictures. I see a cat….they, on the other hand see other things….
Everlasting Dental Care is a very good dental office. They are very nice family! It’s family run and I’m seen by Dr. David Morabito. He’s a very nice warm wonderful gentleman! His sister Ashley is also a wonderful person. His assistant Kayleigh is a wonderful assistant. I have a lot of nice things to say about this practice.
I can’t say enough about this practice!!! I have been going here since the moved in and anytime I hear someone say “do you know of a good dentist” My face lights up and I start my Ted Talk....everyone is so friendly and they are always concerned about my sensitive teeth levels. And just when I thought Dr Morabito was always caring about me, my family, my work....his son Dr Dave comes along and does the same!! The care in this place goes beyond just your oral health care they are about having a caring relationship with you as well. ❤️🦷❤️😁
Thank you for taking care of my vocal health🦷😁🥰
An awesome family like environment that really makes their patients feel special
I sure wish I could find a purple temperature taker to purchase like the one you used on me my last visit there 🤩
Bummer on having to close the office. However, I think it was the right thing to do... Please keep me posted when we can come back.
I have to admit I don't like to go to any dentist. But Dr. Morabito is fantastic and his staff is wonderful. Just got a cleaning today and it was great, as usual. Don't be afraid of the dentist, go to Dr. Morabito and you'll be happy!!!
😀
Mission trip to the Bahamas soon?
Amazing facility, welcoming and friendly staff! Provides excellent feedback on personal routines and care. As a child and young adult I never felt comfortable going to the dentist, when first going into Dr. Morabito’s office it had been over a decade since my last visit. Zero guilt or finger pointing...just exams and development a plan of treatment and care. I now bring my 4 year old for checkups and she has had a great time! If you’re looking for a place that has it all, Everlasting Dental is an 11 out of 10!
I have been going to Dr. Morabito for at about 10 years now and love his dental practice! Growing up I was always afraid of going to the dentist. Dr. Morabito gave me dark glasses, over the ears headphones and an IPad the first time I had to have a procedure done. I cranked up Josh Groban and for the first time in my life was able to ignore the sound of the drill! One of my favorite features is that his office is able to do everything in one visit, including crowns made on site. No more temporary crowns! And with his state-of-the-art equipment, he is able to save as much of your natural tooth as possible and seamlessly meld a new crown to it. I do have fillings, but you can't see any of them, just a mouthful of natural looking teeth. He and his entire staff are kind, gentle and sometimes funny! And he has special days where they wear costumes and do fun things just for the kids. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.
New YearHappy Everyone!

THERE IS A SMALL, fibrous disk that acts as a cushion between the ball and socket of the jaw joint. If the disk erodes or moves out of its proper alignment, if the cartilage on the bone is worn away by arthritis, or if there is a traumatic injury to the joint, a TMJ disorder may be the result. 😬TMJ problems can affect kids as well as adults.

Common symptoms of a TMJ disorder include:

Clicking, popping, or grating in the joint
Pain or tenderness of the jaw
Pain in one or both of the joints
Difficult or painful chewing
Aching pain around the face or ear
Difficulty opening or closing the jaw

When dealing with TMJ pain, there are a few things that can reduce it. Keep yawning and chewing to a minimum. Avoid extreme jaw movements like from singing or yelling. 🗣When yawning, pressing a fist beneath the chin helps control it. When resting, try holding the jaws slightly apart rather than fully closed (their natural resting position). Eat soft foods that require little to no chewing.

In most cases, TMJ pain is temporary and goes away on its own after a week or two, but not always. If it doesn’t, and especially if it gets worse, then it likely needs treatment, which varies from ice packs, exercise, and moist heat to medication and
splints, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), ultrasound treatment, or trigger-point injections. If all else fails, jaw surgery may be recommended. Orthodontic treatment can also help. 👍#TMJ #TMJAwarenessMonth #JawPain

WHAT LOVES SUGAR just as much as kids? Cavity-causing bacteria. That’s why dental caries is the most common childhood disease. Whenever we eat or drink something sugary or acidic, our saliva needs half an hour to wash away the residue. 👅It’s a good idea to limit sugar consumption to mealtimes and swap out sugary snacks with fruits and veggies.

We don’t recommend switching soda with fruit juice, because fruit juice is just as bad for a child’s teeth! Even milk contains sugar. Any drink that contains sugar can be very damaging to oral health if a child is left to sip on it between meals in a sippy cup or bottle. 🍼This kind of tooth decay is so common that it has nicknames: “baby bottle tooth decay” or “bottle rot.”

We’re not insisting that parents cut their kids off from sugar entirely, but try to restrict sugary drinks and treats to mealtimes and cut back overall. If a child needs a bottle or sippy cup to soothe them, fill it with water. 💧It’s also essential to model good oral health habits for growing kids, like brushing and flossing and regular dentist appointments. #sugar #OralHealth #ToothDecay

UNLESS THE DENTIST is on TikTok, it’s not a great platform to get dental health advice from. This year we’ve seen a number of alarming do-it-yourself dental procedures trending, and we want to nip those in the bud for our patients.

Filing teeth: a number of TikTok videos have shown teens and young adults trying to even out their smiles by using nail files to wear down the chewing surfaces. This is a very bad idea. 🚫 Once tooth enamel is gone, it’s gone forever, and amateur tooth filing can lead to fractures, tooth sensitivity, and infection. Dental health professionals will sometimes file teeth, but we are able to do it safely because we have the training and use the proper tools.

DIY Braces: some TikTokers even think they can correct orthodontic problems on their own, using nothing but rubber bands. This is extremely dangerous. David Campbell tried the same thing. He noticed that the rubber bands kept disappearing at night. What he didn't know is that they were sliding up underneath his gums. By the time he realized something was wrong, the rubber bands had strangled the roots of his teeth and they couldn't be saved. 😞 Leave orthodontic treatment to the pros!

DIY hydrogen peroxide whitening: some TikTokers are using 3% hydrogen peroxide to whiten their teeth, which can cause gum irritation and long-term sensitivity. This is not a safe way to achieve professional whitening results cheaply. It’s much better to ask the dentist for recommendations on whitening toothpaste, whitening strips, or professional in-office and take-home treatments. 👍 #TikTokTrends #DentalTrends #WhatNotToDo
