Dr. Choi did his part to help keep our patients and our loved ones safe by getting the vaccine today.
Very thankful to all the scientists and experts who worked on this vaccine, as well as all the nurses, volunteers and Healthcare workers administering them.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday!!

Couldn't go out to a restaurant like we normally do for our holiday lunch so it's carryout this time. Hopefully next year we can go.back out to the restaurants.

Dentists on TikTok warn against this dangerous Halloween hack

As Halloween fast approaches, please do not use superglue to attach parts of your costume in your mouth. πŸ§›β€β™‚οΈ It's toxic and can potentially damage your teeth. πŸ’€ Experts respond to one woman's series of videos about attaching fake fangs onto her teeth with nail glue.

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy early birthday to our assistant, Heidi. Please wish her a happy birthday.

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

For example:
-Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. -You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
-We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
-You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
-Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
-We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
-We ask that you try to come to your appointments by yourself or only with essential people. If you come with a family member, caregiver, or companion, we ask that they wait in their car during the treatment. We will call them when the treatment is completed. If they insist on staying during the treatment, we will ask them to fill out a screening form and have their temperature taken as well. This is all being done out of an abundance of concern for their health, as well as that of the other patients being seen in the office, the doctor and the staff, and any public with whom they might come in contact.
-If you would like, you can wait in your car until just before your appointment. Please give us a call to let us know you have arrived for your appointment but will be waiting in your car until we are ready for you. We will then text or call you to let you know you can come into the office.
-We will be taking your temperature before treatment is rendered.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 703-884-2414.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Stay safe, everyone! We can't wait to see you again.

Gov. Northam has extended the mandate. We will now be opening on May 11th. We will still be seeing patients for emergencies. Please stay safe.

Dr. Choi and his boys stay sane during their time home by doing a puzzle together - well, his oldest only came in to help out at the end, and his youngest helped by breaking the puzzle a couple times to make it more challenging...πŸ˜‚.

What are you doing to to stay sane during your time at home?

UPDATE: Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and per the recommendations of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and mandate by Governor Ralph Northam to postpone all elective surgeries and procedures, our office will be closed effective Monday, March 30 to April 24. We are hoping to re-open on April 27.

We are open only for TRUE emergency cases as defined by the ADA and VDA. Please call our emergency number at 703-884-2414.

We care about each of you and hope that you and your family will remain in good health during this difficult time.
