Good news from the ADA clarifying the WHO statement about the safety of dental cleanings during Covid outbreaks: "WHO Chief Dental Officer Benoit Varenne, Ph.D., also expressed concerns about media coverage of the interim guidance in an Aug. 13 email to global dental leaders. Dr. Varenne said, “Unfortunately, a number of media headlines intentionally or not – when they are referring to the WHO guidance, did not mention that the recommendation to delay routine oral health care is only suggested in an intense uncontrolled community transmission scenario. A scenario that [does] not fit with the current situation of [most countries] around the world.” Dr. Varenne added, “So please be aware of the missing information sometimes disseminated by the media that could increase fear and concern of patients seeking oral health care. I think we have all to play a part in sharing with the public, national dental associations and health authorities the full story provided in the guidance document.” "

Hi, do you all do research/research studies? if yes is there anywhere at your facility that I can go for that to be researched on or whatever? I am doing it because I want to help develop stem cells teeth for growing teeth back in my mouth and having thicker gums.

In 1917, when Dr. Juanita Wade became the first female to graduate from State Dental College, less than 3% of all U.S. dentists were women. She was Dallas’ first female dentist, the college’s first female faculty member and the first female president of the Dallas County Dental Society.

In 1920, she became one of few female fellows of the American Academy of Periodontology. She persevered through her hearing loss after a serious illness during dental school.
