Family Dental of Bel Air

Comments

I have gone to Family Dental of BelAir for a few years. I don't enjoy going to them but I feel comfortable & all staff are friendly.
My dental hygienist is Starr. She is professional, though with cleaning & kind. I somewhat like the going to the dentist now.
Myles makes my experience of going to the dentist much easier!! Thanks for the gentleness you have and your easy conversations! See you soon! Thank you!
STAY AWAY!

The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I had to give them that to write a review! I showed up in pain needing a root canal, They took me in within 3 hours of me calling which is the only thing they did right. They took a whole mouth X-Ray and then the Dentist came in to tell me that I MAY have a cracked tooth. the only option was for them to pull my tooth, but he didn't know WHICH TOOTH to pull. - How do you not know how to read an X-Ray?

After I explained that I was not going to have a tooth pulled they charged me $98.00 - I arrived in pain and left in pain! - They referred me to an endodontist that was closed until Monday morning, I would have had to call and see if I can get an appointment with them 2 days later!

I ended up calling an emergency service and they met me at their office at 12:00 midnight and took X-Rays and said right away that I needed a Root Canal, which I told this dentist before I got to the office!

No thanks to this dentist!! I almost had a tooth pulled, and it MAY have not been the correct tooth pulled!!

If you are in pain, steer clear of Family Dental! - They don't care if you're in pain, their goal is ring up the next $98! - Don't be a number for them!

TERRIBLE!!
