It's so important to teach our children the importance of their dental health from a young age, and there are a lot of ways you can make dental hygiene fun!

Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for two whole minutes, but that can feel like forever to a child.

One way you can make it easier is to play one of your child's favorite songs for two minutes. Dance and laugh with them as you brush your teeth together and make it a fun activity.

The Importance of Good Dental Hygiene | Arlington Family Dental

Having poor dental hygiene can affect more than your oral health. Your mouth is the main way harmful bacteria enters your body and a good dental care routine can help prevent that. Your body can only do so much on its own. Failure to care for it can result in lots of dangerous bacteria buildup. https://arlingtonfamilydentalga.com/?p=1280

arlingtonfamilydentalga.com Good dental hygiene is essential for maintaining your overall health. Learn what easy steps you can take for Dental Awareness Day!

For a knocked-out permanent or adult tooth, keep it moist at all times. If you can, try placing the tooth back in the socket without touching the root. If that’s not possible, place it in between your cheek and gums, in milk, or use a tooth preservation product that has the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Then, get to your dentist’s office right away.
