I had a root canal performed by a very professional dentist on January 29. The problem is that before I was seen, the receptionist insisted I pay a co-pay of $762. I knew this was much more than my insurance would require me to pay, but I wanted to get the tooth taken care of & she refused for me to be seen unless I paid that amount. I paid it, & after getting home, called my insurance (Aetna) who told me that the max I should have to pay would be $130. I called the office back & was told I would have to speak to Sarah in Billing. Getting ahold of her was difficult, & I called & spoke to her on 2/8, 2/12, 2/15, 2/16, & 2/16. A partial refund was made on 2/17, leaving $45 more than I should have paid. I called & talked to her again 2/17 & 2/19, & called Aetna again & filed a complaint. I received a letter from them dated March 3 which stated that the practice was informed on NOVEMBER 1, 2020, that they were not allowed to charge patients the $45 for PPE. I have been put off by both Sarah & Letitia, the Office Manager about this & I am really angry about it. I will be pursuing this until I get the refund. I wonder how many patients have given up on paying what the contract requires, & receiving refunds when they over-paid.

Very professional. I can be a difficult patient being claustrophobic - Dr. Nikeeta Patanker was patient, professional and very accommodating. Her assistant was also wonderful as was the office personnel. This is my fourth root canal and by far the best one! They went above and beyond to make me comfortable and explain the whole procedure in detail. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nikeeta Patanker and her staff and the Woodbridge location. R. Lake

I live in Alexandria and needed a root canal. My dentist suggested I see Dr. Po***ck in Arlington. What a surprise and a relief. The office was easy to get to, they gave me an appointment convenient to my schedule and Dr. Po***ck could not have been nicer. The entire procedure took the same amount of time as a filling. Definitely recommend this practice!
