Very friendly staff and doctor. Will go out of their way to do anything for you. Very competent in their work.
Went in for my 6-month cleaning/check up with Dr. McMasters and his staff. Going to the dentist has always been something you just hate to do but that is not the case with Dr. McMasters and his staff. Everyone is so friendly and anything you have to have done at their office they make it as pleasant as they can for you. If you need a dentist -- Call them -- You won't be disappointed at all.

OFFICE HOURS: Mon-Wed 7-5, Thurs 7-2

Operating as usual

So today is the end of an era. Our ‘Sparkling Ray of Sunshine”😉 Pam Harmon, is retiring.

Pam has been a part of my dental life...well, for as long as I can remember. She worked the front desk when i was growing up (as a patient of Dr. Greg Dugger). And when I graduated dental school and came back to Pulaski to start my practice, she worked for me as well.

She didn’t complain about having to work for a snot-nosed-know-it-all young dentist 🤣🤣🤣🤣……well...hey....its Pam, so yall know she complained😜but she did it with a “bless your heart” smile.😊

She worked for me there for 12 years, until i closed that office in early 2013, and stayed a few more years, until Dr Dugger retired, and then she followed suit.

Fortunately, I was able to convince her to come out of retirement (ok....ok...I brought her kicking and screaming😉🤣🤣) to come work for me in Ardmore. She didn’t need the job. She didn’t need the money. She came bc she cared about me and wanted to help. And for the past 4-5years she has served our patients (and community) well.

MY FAVORITE PAM STORY....it was early in my career, the summer of 2004, on a friday at around 10am (yes, i used to work some fridays😉)

I was working on a patient and Pam comes to the door of my operatory:

Pam: “Your wife is on the phone.”
Me: “Tell her im busy. I will call her later.”

2 minutes later she returns

Pam: “I really think you need to talk to her. It sounds urgent.”
Me: (annoyed) “Tell her im in the middle of a procedure and I will have to call her later.”

2 more minute..she returns, arms crossed, giving me the “Pam look”......

Pam: “Dr Mc...im not asking you again....im telling you...now get up and answer the d**n phone!” 😳😳😳

So I apologized to my patient, and went to answer the phone. Holly was crying uncontrollably. She couldn’t even speak. All I could understand was “hospital” and “dr”. So I was in panic mode…. until she was calm enough to tell me....that I was going to be a father.❤️❤️❤️

I later asked Pam if she knew thats what it was, and she said….

“No. But i knew it was serious enough that your a$$ needed to answer the telephone!!”🤣🤣🤣

I have always considered my staff family. So on the very rare occasion that someone leaves us??? It’s like losing a family member. We will all miss Pam’s smile, laugh, attitude, and of course her witty sarcasm😉🤣😜...BUT....we are also very happy for her.

So Pam Harmon....now is your time to shine!! So go forth and limp (and stumble 🤣🤣🤣) on in to your 2nd (and final) retirement😜 and enjoy it to the fullest.

We all love you very much and wish you nothing but the best!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Pt had finished orthodontic treatment and wasn’t happy with the spacing due to his undersized lateral incisors. So we did 2 porcelain veneers to close the space.

This is a recent case that we completed. This patient didn’t like the space and positioning of his front teeth. He didn’t want to go through orthodontics to close the space and align the teeth, so he opted for contouring of his gum tissue and 4 porcelain veneers.

[04/17/20]   *****WE WILL BACK TO WORK WITH A REGULAR SCHEDULE ON THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2020*****

An update on the back-to-work date

The Tennessee Dental Association (TDA) requested clarification from the Governor’s Office regarding the date our dentists can return given the end-time differences set forth by Executive Order No. 25 (EO-25) and Executive Order No. 27 (EO-27).
Governor Lee released EO-27 on April 13, 2020 effectively extending temporary social distancing and stay-at-home provisions through the end of April. EO-27 remains in effect until 11:59 p.m., Central Daylight Time, on April 30, 2020. As you will recall, EO-25 limits dental practice to emergency procedures only until April 30. This order is slated to expire at 12:01 a.m., Central Daylight Time, on April 30, 2020.

A senior official with the Office of the Governor has confirmed dental service providers in the State of Tennessee can return to work the morning of Thursday, April 30, 2020. Please bear in mind that this date is subject to change by the Governor and may be impacted by local “Stay at Home” and business restriction orders.

washingtonpost.com Coronavirus has made most dental work too dangerous, leaving one 77-year-old woman unable to get her dentures, and many dental practices scrambling to survive

[01/28/19]   Due to the possibility of inclement weather tonight, we will be starting at 10am tomorrow. At least that is our plan, and we will see how it goes from there. 🙂

If you have an appointment between 7am-10am, someone will be calling you to reschedule.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our main concern is for the safety of our patients and our staff.

Stay safe everyone!

This is a trauma case that i saw a few weeks ago. PT is a 12 yr old boy that took a hard fall. He completely avulsed (knocked out) 2 of his front teeth and pushed another one up near his nose. I had to reimplant the teeth as well as reset a portion of the upper jaw. I then temporarily splinted them all together.

Just a reminder to parents, that when you have a child's tooth that is avulsed, it is imperative that you get it reimplanted as soon as possible. In the meantime, soak it in a glass of milk (until you can see your dentist.)

Our most recent charity case!

[01/10/11]   Closed tomorrow...hopefully the snow will melt and we will be back in pulaski next week!;-)

[01/10/11]   In case you are wondering, we decided to go ahead and close the office tomorrow. Its still up in the air regarding tuesday. We will just see how it goes.

[12/09/10]   I have had several patients to ask me if it mattered which office they went to. The answer is that you can come to whichever office is more convenient for you. Also, if you have an emergency situation, and normally come to one office, you can still come and see me at the other one.
