I have been going to Apple Dental Center for 9 yrs or so and being in the high desert for over 30 yrs (it took about 20yrs to find an amazing dentist here in the high desert) Dr.Mazi is the best, he is kind, gentle, quick and truly cares for you (always asking if you are doing when performing procedures), making it very calm for you. The staff are always kind, polite and always willing to help you with whatever questions or concerns that come about! My whole family goes to Apple Dental and I refer anyone that is in need for dental care to Apple Dental, they go visit and are always thankful and impressed with the care they received! THANK YOU APPLE DENTAL CENTER!!!
Great services and quick about them.
I love this office Dr Mazi very kind gentleman I feel totally comfortable with him... It's a few of his staff members that I want to point out
Mariah : this young lady was so nice and accommodating... I felt really comfortable with her

Marrisa: she did a few adjustments she was very patient and friendly.... Also a very nice young lady

This is going to be my Dentist even if I have to come out of pocket.... I highly recommend them
Great place! From the moment you walk in, the Front Office Staff, Dentist and Hygienist. VERY friendly and clean. Props to Christian and Noni (Hygienist's) and Wonderful Dentist's.
Went in for a root canal last week, I had a very charming assistant named Irving. I felt relaxed in his care. I was scared but my nerves were calmed once I was able to chat with Irving and knew exactly what to expect.
Cristian was great very helpful☺
Staysy is amazing always helps my entire family and makes the experience comfortable and stress free. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you Liz for cleaning my Daughter and mine teeth. Liz your great job.
A Day at the Dentist

Greeted with the warm smile of gracious reception, our trepidation eased as my daughter and I took our seats in the waiting room of Apple Dental Center. Postered, big, white smiles adorned the walls advertising the promises of health and happiness. Stoic, possibly nervous, patrons kept silent vigil as the nurses and doctors bustled in the background. Before acclamation has the opportunity to turn to fearful anticipation, our names were called.

I remember only three dentist visits in my life. Firstly, at eight or nine, I took a fall on the schoolyard playground and chipped my front tooth and was taken in to have the sharp edges smoothed. Secondly, I woke up during my impacted wisdom teeth extraction due to a knot in the IV drip line. I recall how blase the conversation about weekends and such sounded as I awoke to the methodical pounding of the hammer and chisel type operation. And thirdly, in prison, I had four teeth pulled. So there I was...visit #4...and not a moment too soon.

Radiated x-rays need to be clear and concise so insurance companies can chart their brand of need for coverage. Next the doctor must review the evidence and discuss the proper prognosis. I was informed that I would be receiving a cleaning before the work began. Now, I'm a heavy smoker with teeth to match so I was quite excited to think my smile might find some comparison to the joyful models who seemed so content looking over me from their wall perch. Then came comforting words preparing me for what the procedures entailed. Cavities galore...no surprise to me...fix 'em or pull 'em was my plea. My petite and sweet, lovely, Asian lady dentist was taken slightly aback by my neutrality towards extraction and warm heartedly explored options.

Having talked it through and finding compromise, the cleaning began. Super powered was the rotary tool as it scoured my yellow stained teeth searching for the luminescence beneath. The gritty, fluoride laden toothpaste hinted at the flavor of overly sweetened breakfast cereal. We followed with Listorene and a fluoride rinse. A few additional x-rays were needed; presumably to have the insurance company sufficiently satisfied as to ensure payment. I took pause to express that my embarrassment was far more painful than shots... compassion quickly answered that there was no judgement here.

A swab to numb and needles to deaden, my mouth felt foreign, swollen but ready. My job was to relax, breathe and focus my mind on a single point as to not be distracted by the numerous strange happenings of suction, metallic grinding and the ever shuffling hands of intent doctor and conscientious assistant. It was indeed a party in my mouth and everyone was invited.

An hour and a half those ladies spent improving my decayed outlook. Diligence in motion is inspirational, not unlike any other profound poetic rendering. Like hands of a clock keeping steady pace, one after the other, problems found correction. Before I knew it, I was informed that all the work had been completed and I wouldn't need to schedule another visit for one year.

My egress was far less ceremonial than my anticipation. I was not informed of the extent of the work, just that it was all done. My connection with these two was more than the moment allowed for expression. Like a miracle, lowly me, allowed to find my piece of health and happiness. I'd have liked to have spent a few minutes to recount my gratitude and awe. Unfortunately, the line for that chair is never ending so I feigned my thanks and found the exit.

Bryanna, my daughter, got only one filling but we were both numb enough to share warbled revelry as we drove home. Nap time followed as the numbing agents surely found their way into our blood streams. Thereafter, I sought out the mirror to gaze upon the magnificence of my renewed smile. Let me pause once again to explain that I'm an idealist. So when I looked at the still stained smile I felt immediately conflicted. Thankful for the help yet concerned for the results. Two small cavities at the forefront of my countenance stared back at me. My assumption is that these did not meet the requirements for remedy prescribed by the State funded insurance program.

A resounding FOUR out of five stars! That is my official Facebook rating for Apple Dental Center. Yes, I will return...yes, I will recommend...and yes, I understand the constraints of bigger picture failures of a flawed medical system. My only suggestion might be that the patient be treated more like a customer. After receiving a trim at the barbershop, we are handed a mirror for our approval. It might have lessened the shock of my still yellowed decaying smile. But do not let my bias detour your thinking about the aptitude and competency of the staff at Apple Dental Center. My problem teeth and impoverished state of being are self inflicted injuries and I remain thankful for the help and compassion I received...but I am doubtful that my smile would be placed alongside the bright personages displayed on the wall...
Hands down!!!
This is the best dentist I've ever tooken my kids to...
