A few reminders for those with upcoming & future appointments with us. 😃
😷Masks need to be worn by everyone that enters the office ages 2 and up.
📞Please call from the parking lot when you arrive for your appointment so we can go over the screening questions with you again.
📲Completing your paperwork through our patient portal is super important! We are trying to reduce all points of contact.
✅Please confirm your appointments as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee appointments if they are not confirmed.
1️⃣ We are sorry but we have to limit one parent/guardian per child for social distancing purposes.
We appreciate all of your cooperation throughout this difficult and ever changing time. We look forward to seeing you!😁
We wish you a Safe & Happy Fourth of July Weekend!
Our office is closed today and will reopen at 8 am on Monday😊
Hello Everyone! We are open! We are very excited to be adding children to our cavity free club again and checking out all your cool masks. Our team is working hard to get everyone who had appointments from March 16th - June 7th rescheduled. Please have patience with us! We are accepting new patients. Our office is following all recommendations and requirements of the ADA, New York State, and the CDC. There are a few new procedures in place to ensure your safety.
1. When arriving at our office we require you to check in with a phone call to go over COVID 19 screening questions. We are limiting those in our waiting room to practice proper social distancing.
2. Anyone entering our office will have their temperature screened and be required to wear a mask.
3. Forms that would typically be completed in the office are all being done through a patient portal before your appointment. When confirming your appointment please make sure we have your current email. If you are unable to complete forms virtual we ask that you make arrangements with our team before your child’s appointment.
4. Our office may look a little different with the dividers we have in place. We have installed air purifiers and are limiting all aerosol producing procedures.
5. Our common areas are cleaned regularly and infection control continues to be our top priority.
If you have any questions or if your child is having a dental emergency / pain please give our office a call. We look forwarding to seeing all of you!

** TEMPORARY CLOSURE **
Dear Amsterdam Pediatric Dentistry Family,
The health, safety and well-being of our patients, team, friends, family and colleagues is foremost in our minds. For that reason, we are temporarily closing the office until March 31st. At that point, we will re-evaluate this ever changing situation.
Our highest priority is your health and safety. We believe this is the most responsible decision for our community and our own extended families as well. We will still be available for emergency care. If your child has a dental emergency, please call the office for instructions on how to proceed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We wish you all good health in the coming weeks!!

Dear Amsterdam Pediatric Dentistry Family,
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. While there now are the first 2 documented cases in Albany County, our office is dedicated to understanding how it affects our patients, employees, and doctors, and then making necessary adjustments to our office routine.
We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you, our patients, as well as our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we wanted to keep you abreast of our response to the threat of the coronavirus.
We take pride in our infection control, and the sterilization and disinfection processes we have always utilized are effective against COVID-19. Aside from our standard infection control protocols, we have ramped up cleaning and disinfection in the common areas of our office and are continuing to offer hand sanitizer at the front entrance.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick. We also ask our patients to help us in containing any potential spread by rescheduling your appointments without penalty if you feel unwell or feverish.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and do all we can to protect our patient family.
Dr. Bhatti and Amsterdam Pediatric Dentistry Team
