The Connection Between Genes & Oral Conditions

We are pleased to announce in addition to following ADA and CDC guidelines we are going above the norm to provide our patients and staff the safety they deserve, by having installed Extra-oral Air Filtration Devices. They work by removing aerosols to provide a clean, safe environment.
We've had many positive comments on the units and appreciation by our patients.

[03/13/20]   A notice to our patients concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19):

As communities begin to feel the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), We want to share with you the steps we're taking to help protect the health and safety of our patients and our dental team members, which is always our top priority.

We're closely monitoring local and national reports on the evolving impact of COVID-19 and, based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and applicable public health agencies.

As before the current concern, the majority of the protocols being recommend are part of being a healthcare provider and were already implemented as part of our daily routine standard care for infection control.

Additional steps such as sanitizing wipes are near workstations and counters so that employees can keep them continuously cleaned and a hand sanitizing station at our office desk to make it convenient for all to sanitize their hands have always been in place prior to the current events.

In addition, we've developed protocols to maintain the safety of our scheduling, appointments and treatment of our patients.

We have increased our housekeeping and sanitization efforts in our office. We are frequently disinfecting often-touched surfaces such as door handles, countertops, keypads, restroom surfaces, etc. All of our dental team members are following the CDC and Ohio Dental Board guidelines to prevent the spread of the infection as is our usual practice.

We have implemented guidelines that instruct those dental team members who experience flu-like symptoms, or individuals who have been diagnosed through testing with COVID-19 to stay home and follow the CDC's instructions.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust the actions taken as necessary to help limit the spread of this virus and do our part in helping to protect our patients and dental team members during this time.
