Stone Springs Dentistry

New to Town – Need a Dentist Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community. Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find. Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Dentist, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Dentist in our local Welcome Kits. It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 70% of new residents and families seek out a new Dentist shortly after their relocation. As such, 7 out of 10 recipients of our Welcome Kits are actively looking for a new Dentist. I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail. Please reply to this email with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience. For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature. Thanks. Karla Cain (540) 664-5514

Does charcoal toothpaste really whiten teeth? Many products claim that charcoal can whiten your smile. But are these claims true?

In Stone Springs Dentistry we are working hard to keep everyone safe!
Here are some of the new safety measures that you may notice:
We will be screening all patients when confirming appointments for fever, cough, body aches, and shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, travel history and close contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 patient or a symptomatic individual within the last 14 days.
As social distancing still is in effect, we are scheduling one patient at a time. We encourage patients to check in via text or phone call and ask you to wait in your vehicle until we call you. We also ask to come alone if possible.
For your safety please consider having a mask to cover your mouth and nose as you enter the building. When you walk in to the office we provide hand sanitizer and ask to fill out a questionnaire to the same effect. We screen body temperature with an infrared thermometer and Blood Oxygen saturation with Oximeter.
After sitting the patient on the dental chair, you can remove your mask and Hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse is provided to rinse for 1 minute.
You see Surgically Clean Air machines in our units to purify and clean the air.
We try to avoid using Ultrasonic hand scalers to avoid producing Aerosoles during your cleaning appointments.
We will use some new type of high speed suctions and isolation systems.
We try our best to provide the best services and your safety is our highest concern.
P.S. We screen employee and doctors for body temperature and O2 saturation everyday.

We are here for you!

As we are coping with the quickly growing spread of COVID-19, we wish that you and your family are in good health and high spirits.

Our main concern here at SSD is your health. We have taken the recommendation of The Virginia Dental Association in closing our dental office until April 24th - please note that this might change with the severity of the condition.
We are continuously monitoring the recommendations of ADA to ensure our patients’ and community’s safety.

During this time, we will be attending to any emergency calls and listening to incoming messages.

We appreciate your patience and hope that everyone stay healthy during this difficult time.

Stay safe! 🌹
